Nature is an endless reserve of innocence and emotion... Nicolas
Hulot
When you discover Polynesia, you realize that this natural beauty is a real treasure and a legacy for future generations. French Polynesia is particularly well adapted to discover nature easily. However, it may also be very easy to miss special encounters when you do not know what to look for and where. This is the reason why we decided to become wildlife guides over here to make people's memories unique, special and unforgettable instead of merely a nice vacation in a sunny part of the world.
With 118 islands (all of volcanic origin) spread over 5 million square kilometres (the size of Western Europe), this territory can be compared to an oasis in the middle of the South Pacific. Located several thousand kilometres away from any other continent, this isolation has greatly contributed to protect nature and make encounters easier. Recently declared a whale sanctuary, Polynesian waters welcome at least 17 species of cetaceans. Their habitat is one of the main atmospheric controller on Earth, as well as rainforests.

There is today an ever-growing interest for the observation and swimming with oceanic nomads. Naturalist journeys are suitable for persons concerned about taking time to ensure a genuine and serene approach of wildlife, for those who attach great value to respecting the animal behaviour, enjoying the diversity of landscapes offered by travelling.

sailing cruises in unique areas : Huahine,
Tahaa, Raiatea, Bora-Bora and Maupiti (Leeward islands ), Rangiroa and Fakarava (Tuamotu archipelago), Moorea and Tetiaroa (Windward islands). Follow your guide into the warm and clear waters of the tropical Pacific ocean, discover its gentle giants. Have a nice time in legendary bays. Nocturnal snorkelings, aqua-trekkings, Robinson raids... Change your planet, enjoy the ocean !
A wildlife guide aboard guarantees… A better chance to locate the animals, lectures introducing the fauna, a nice approach, a safety encounter for everyone.
Meeting cetaceans in their natural habitat… We promote « soft encounters », consisting in using soft techniques improving aquatic interactions with cetaceans. We actually wait for the animals to take the initiative of the contact, never harassing them. This does not imply that we never swim with them. On the contrary, it leads to nice observations in nice conditions : there is indeed no need to pester a whale not keen on meeting us. Experience is of course your best ally : trust your guides and never forget to be optimistic.

They can be trying so plan good amphibious shoes, a waterproof sun lotion, repellent, sun glasses and a cap.
